Dell inspirion 1520 laptop hinge is busted.NEED HELP?

Often times the hinge screws just become loose and need to be tightened. Look on the back edge and bottom of the computer for any screws around the hinge area that may be loose and tighten them carefully. As for the screen area, you'd have to remove the bezel from around the screen. You'd have to remove the little screw covers/bumpers from the corners and a couple in the top middle area and remove the screws, then carefully pry the bezel off to get to the hinge area behind the bezel. If parts are actually broken, then you'd have to get replacement components.
