My HP G63 laptop's screen wont power up.?

I have a HP G63 laptop. Its screen is held together by electric tape due to damage. It is so damaged it is now a stationary computer. It will not close and overheats very quickly due to the fact that HP (after sending it in for 2 weeks) did not repair it. Recently it has been overheating in the bottom right hand of the screen where it is held together by tape and it has a black hot spot on the screen when it is powered on. I am wondering what to do with it cause it is my life line computer and I do business on it. When you try to close it the computer screen is offset making me think that it one of the hinges is also broken. Right now the screen wont even power on. I am no hardware repairing kind of person but i need to know how to fix it if i can do it or if i need a company to fix it for me. HELP!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! It is out of warranty.
