How do i get my Netgear router working again?

I stupidly dabbled with the settings and lost the internet, I have reset the router to factory settings and can access the smart wizard setup but what do i do next? I think I'll have to manually enter IP, sub gateway and whatever but when i do through ipconfig (unless I'm entering the wrong ones) it still doesn't work? It also asks for primary and secondary dns server? what do I do, is there an easier way, apart from having to call my service provider? My laptop says I'm connected to the router but there is no internet access, please help.
