My laptop screen keeps going black?

i have a Samsung r20 laptop. when i turn it on the screen comes on for a couple of minutes and then it goes blank then i usually move the screen about it will come back on. it all started when the right hinge of my laptop came off of the screen that opens and closes it so it might be that but im not sure can somebody tell me how to fix it please it would be appreciated
