Cops came to my house to look for me but I wasn't home, so I was wondering why they might have came over?

there are many reasons cops look for people. if you have ever committed a crime or something on the line then yes there is the possibility of arrest. however there are other reasons including the following. maybe they want a to verify an alibi or question you on something they think you witnessed. or maybe a friend or associate of your has committed a crime and want to ask you about them and when last time you saw them. they will probably come back. when they do don't run and don't lie. those are the two worst possible things to do.
