Is my Mac covered? Can it be fixed?

I have a Mac book that I bought January of 2010. The screen part is loose though, I don't really know how to explain it. I don't know if the hinge is loose or what but it seems like the whole top of the screen is just going to fall off. My question is if I took it to the Apple store, would they be able to fix it and would it be under warranty? Does anyone know anymore information about this?
