I have known him for 7 years. The doctor strictly forbade him from eating steak again, but there he was at Sizzler, smirking & saying he was a grown man. I told him the piece was far too big & he said "yes mommy" in a sarcastic tone. Well guess what? Spasm, scene, ambulance ride, overnight in the hospital to remove the food. When I picked him up the next morning he said "you really do care about me don't you? This has made our bond stronger hasn't it"? I felt sickened & enraged at that statement and told him "No, you knowingly risking your health does not make me feel closer to you, that would be sick & twisted". It's as if he did it on purpose for extra attention. Now, I feel nauseous just thinking about being around him, I cringe when the phone rings and I feel trapped. I do not want to hurt him. If I stop coming around, he'll probably opt to shrivel up and die, which would be his choice, but I would still feel guilty for breaking his lonely little old man heart. I want him to be happy, I do care, but he is not emotionally healthy for me. Can anyone suggest a middle ground? A win-win? Thanks

I have downloaded Grand Theft Auto 4 on PC and it has been saved as image files. The two files together are 13.8 GB, but thankfully split into disk 1 and disk 2. Door scrapes on floor now. Suggestions?

We have an old door that over time and due to humidity, now scrapes on our wood floors. Over the weekend, I tried to shim the bottom hinge to raise it - now the door doesn't shut properly. I took out the shim and the door shuts fine, but scrapes. I tried to use longer screws on the top hinge, but due to the door being so old, the holes are pretty much stripped and the new longer screws don't grab onto anything. Any suggestions? We love the old door and really don't want to replace it.

I have a HP G63 laptop. Its screen is held together by electric tape due to damage. It is so damaged it is now a stationary computer. I know this is going to be so agonizing to read, with all the confusion rattling my brain right now I am using punctuation horrifically. I have known him for almost three years now, we have been friends, joked around, etc. But he's always trying to make me laugh when I'm around him...and he's different on his own, he's more caring. I walk home with my friends, and he walks home with his, and we walk the same way but me and him walk a little further than everyone else. If he walked faster than me and is in front by more than a few metres, he won't turn around and walk back. I don't catch up with him because I'm too shy. But if I am in front by more than a few metres, he will run to catch up and walk with me and in those few minutes, for a few days a week for the past 3 years, I have grown to really like being with him...I blush if he dares look at me, I cannot stop smiling, it's like the corners of my mouth are semi-permanently hinged. I talk to him at school too, but there's this really popular, skinny, pretty girl that flirts with him. She gets to sit next to him in lessons a lot, and I can't help but stare at them. I hate it so much. She's changed him from the sweet shy guy he was. We still talk walking home, just not as much. I hate being so obsessed and feeling so controlled by him? He isn't even aware of it, so I don't know why...can anyone help? Shall I just get over him, or is there something there?

Should there be harsher punishments for crimes?

In my opinion I believe punishments for crimes such as robbery/ theft, 1st and 2nd degree murder, rape, kidnapping fraud, personal identity theft, and credit card/ number theft should be a automatic death penalty, not by lethal injection or those other humane methods, but instead a painful and slow method, because I firmly believe it will be a deterrent to criminals. What is your opinion?

Should I drink from the cup or not?

So I'm a Christian and following the teaching of Jesus Christ. I also dabble in Mosaic Law and the teachings and stories of the prophets and the Old Testament from time to time. So, I have this little dilemma. I belong to the Catholic Church and at communion they offer both bread and wine. I always go for the bread but I cautious about partaking in the wine. The reason is that there could be 100 to 300 parishioners in the church on any given Sunday with , I'm guessing, 20 to 30 percent drinking from the same cup which the individual serving wipes in between each parishioner. I feel this may not be very healthy (germ wise) so I skip the wine. The thing is I really want to partake but my thinking is stopping me. So what do you think? Am I at risk of catching some deadly communicable disease by drinking from the same cup as others or am I just worrying excessively?

Laptop hinge cracked - what can I do?

The hinge that lets the screen open has separated slightly on one side. My computer still works, still opens, but it is very worrysome. My laptop is now out of warranty as well, so I don't know where to go. Is there anywhere that could replace that hinge for less than the cost of a new laptop?

2001 chevy cavalier warning light problems?

i recently had a lot of work done on my cavalier. a new sub frame was put in, a new timing belt, spark plugs, gaskets, fuel filter, brake line was flush. Most of the work was done because the first person to work on the car screwed up a lot of things. but that's another story. today I was driving and the TRAC OFF light came on, followed by THEFT SYSTEM and SERVICE. I parked the car, shut it off and turned it on. no lights. i drove a few feet, the THEFT SYSTEM and the SERVICE light came on and then the BRAKE light and one other light ( i couldn't catch what it was) blinked on and off and those other two stood on...any ideas what's going on?

Simple Access/SQL project?

I'm trying to build an Access form that will change data in 3 separate tables in SQL. I have the ODBC link created and I can see all of the fields. The issue I'm running into is I can't get the key ID to update in the two sub tables from one field in the form. I created the primary key ID and made the other two tables have a foreign key relationship to it in SSMS. What am I missing? I'm sure it's very simple but I've been searching for hours. How do I inquire on fixing a broken laptop? (HP, Pavillion dm4)?

Alright, so I broke my laptop, an HP, Pavilion dm4, recently. What happened was that the hinges of the laptop kept getting stuck and one of them eventually broke off. So the laptop was unevenly closing. So I took of the other hinge, for evenness. Little did I know, that they have tons of wires that they hide INSIDE the hinges. So, eventually after closing and opening a laptop with no hinges for about a week, one of the wires broke in half, and now the whole screen is discolored an you can't even see anything. It's terrible, I have to use my upstairs computer now, and it's summer so it's hot upstairs, so please, how do I fix this? Can I contact HP and get it replaced? Unfortunately I do not have the receipt for the laptop, but I have all the packaging.

Is my laptop keyboard broken?

I was going inside my laptop, an Inspiron 1525, to disconnect the monitor from it as the hinges were busted and the monitor was trashed basically. I took off the keyboard to pull out some monitor cords and then I accidentally yanked the keyboard to hard and the cord got pulled out. Me and my dad tried putting it back in the connector and then we turned the laptop on with an external monitor, which worked fine, but the keyboard didn't work. I need help hanging a prehung interior door?

the rough opening is well ROUGH the sides do not match up, in order to get the door to be perfectly set the left side (hinge side right hand swing door) is good but the right doesn't line up..ie the top sticks out about 3/4 in at the top and 1/8 in at the bottom. How should i hang this and what will be the best way to cover up this poor frame job. reframing is not an option for me it is only this one door and it has all new drywall and everything i want to be able to hide this mistake somehow. I have started reading a book called, "Demons In Disguise" As Christians we believe that demons can pretend to be dead people. People who go to Mediums are really making contact with demons. However, it seems that people who go to Mediums or witness a ghost of a "dead person" say that most ghosts are harmless. It's rare a person will have a bad experience going to a Medium to contact the dead. However, when a person dabbles in a Ouija Board then I often hear of bad things happening. Why does my external monitor not work?

On my laptop, an Inspiron 1525, I took off the monitor and disconnected it from my laptop. Then I hooked up an external monitor. The reason I disconnected my monitor from my laptop was that the hinges were broken and it wasn't even connected to the laptop except by wires. Now when I start the computer up I can see the screen that says I can press F12 etc to go to set up or BIOS etc. Then I see the loading bar when windows is loading up. After that the monitor doesn't show anything even though I can hear the sound of windows starting up. Do I need to have the original monitor hooked up, or do I have to setup something, or will it just not work? I know that the monitor has worked on my laptop before when the monitor was hooked up. What DS should I buy?

My DS lite's still works okay but the hinge is broken and it won't stay open/closed properly. I want to buy either a DS lite or a DSi. I'll still have my old one and I have an SP so the whole GBA slot thing won't be an issue. I don't think an upgrade would be necessary but I REALLY like the color of the Blue DSi. Dell inspirion 1520 laptop hinge is busted.NEED HELP?

Often times the hinge screws just become loose and need to be tightened. Look on the back edge and bottom of the computer for any screws around the hinge area that may be loose and tighten them carefully. As for the screen area, you'd have to remove the bezel from around the screen. You'd have to remove the little screw covers/bumpers from the corners and a couple in the top middle area and remove the screws, then carefully pry the bezel off to get to the hinge area behind the bezel. If parts are actually broken, then you'd have to get replacement components.

What MMORPG should I get?

I quit WoW due to cataclysm ruining the great world I loved, so now I'm looking for a new MMORPG bandwagon to ride. I've narrowed it down to 2 of em: Rift, Guild Wars. These fit my style of play from what I've seen/heard. I've dabbled a bit in Guild Wars which is why I like, plus that one pay forever ain't too bad either. But my problem with Guild Wars is that I enjoy raiding and being rewarded for it but apparently you don't have to raid to get good gear. But, I heard PvP was kickass, and it looked it from gameplay vids I've seen, which was crazy as hell. From what I hear on Rift, it sounds pretty legit, haven't read up alot on its PvP. BUT I didwatched some gameplay though and seemed like WoW which will make me pretty good at it seeing as how I was sexy at PvP in WoW. Raiding seemed very familiar as well, which also attracts me. I'm not positive or anything, but you might want to check you settings in the control panel, it could just be turned off. Or if you're using Skype or something like that then it may be in the options/settings on there as well. Mine was set to an external microphone, and i had to change it to internal.

What are the pros and cons of a Mac or PC for ME?

If you want to take the easy road out get a mac. But if you want a quality laptop that will work for awhile and put up with whatever you throw at it look into getting something else than a dell or toshiba. There are some great pc laptops out there that will blow macs out of the water any day. I reccomend one from msi. You could also try to be safer with what you do online, I have owned over 10 computers in the past 8 years and not one of them has ever had a virus

Laptop trouble! Please help!?

I'm not sure how to explain what's wrong but i'll try my best. I closed the lid of my laptop a bit too fast and the metal part (there are two, one on each side of the hinge) popped out. The laptop closes and opens normally, but its a bit loose, and the part (i have no idea what you call it) is completely attatched, just out of its place. I'm afraid it'll break off soon, but i don't know what to do. Is there a way to fix it without taking it to a computer store? I always break something in the laptop, and my dad will be pretty mad.

Varies a lot. For my cousin, the supervised visitation was done by the grandmother, the father's mother. So, the mom brought the child to the grandmother's home and she was required to always be present when the child was in contact with the father. As time went on, she just had to be present in the home. In this particular case, the grandmother always had regular contact with the child so there weren't any concerns by the mother over proper care.

Is judo wrong for me?

im a 40 year old man who (as of today) still smokes. I consider myself fit due to being ex military and still work out. I ran a mile 3 months ago... lol. Anyway i plan to quit in the next few days. I visited a martial arts studio today in search of a non traditional workout, plus ive dabble in it from time to time. However, being forty and a single parent of a 7 year old girl kind of changes things. Trying to find the right girl?

It seems that having a strong imagination and being able to convey that imagination in body movements and voice is very hard to achieve for me. Registry for an unregistered mare? Or her foal?

I own an absolutely amazing palomino mare with great conformation and a temperament to put pony club horses to shame. She is just under 15 hands, about 6 years old, an until recently I used her as mainly a jumping horse, which she excelled at, but we also dabbled in dressage, western speed, trail, and pretty much everything. She could do it all. I'm speaking in the past tense because last fall she went lame, and was diagnosed with low ringbone. Her jumping days are over, she can now only be used for light riding in the summer when she has shoes on. (Totally my fault, i shouldn't have ever pushed her that hard that early, and i would give just about anythig to go back and undo that...) Since I cannot afford to feed a horse simply to sit in a pasture, and I desperately don't want to sell her (she's my first horse, and I love her :) ) I'm tossing around the idea of breeding her, to sell the foal. She's unregistered, her Dam is an unregistered paint/arab cross, and her sire is a full quarter horse. I would try together her approved as a warmblood broodmare, but I don't know that she'd be accepted as she isn't really the classic warmblood build... At least a hand to short, and she can no longer safely jump. And I definitely don't want to breed her I the baby can't be registered, I will not have my precious pony's baby being sold for meat; never in a million years. Does anyone have any ideas? There's no hope in doing anything with the quarter horse registry, as far as i know, but i'm not sure about anything else. Also, I can't afford big fancy expensive studs... Unfortunately.

I made a fake facebook account that's a duplicate of my friend's account, I added all his friends and liked all the same things he liked. Wand making and what wood/crystal to use?

Well first before you get a wand, your really going to want to get to level 5 magician. I would suggest using a magic coloring book and repetitively using that to level up quickly. Then you can take on some low level missions using your fireball attack against some goblins and you should be able to obtain a level 3 cave crystal so you can start casting more destructive spells. Also I would go to a mages guild and upgrade your illusion magic because that will help against the level 9 Knight you will encounter later on

Should I get an IPad or Macbook?

I am undecided about whether to get the new IPad or a Macbook. I have a laptop already but its starting to get slow and the hinge is broken which is annoying, but it still works fine I suppose. Basically, the guy I like is my best friend. Although I am not his best friend. But, I am his best lady friend. I know my feelings.I love him so MUCH. I just don't know if it appears I like him.
